StreetVelodrome Tour of Ireland 2019.
StreetVelodrome kicks off its fourth annual Tour of Ireland this weekend, visiting eight regions for a total of nine events, and utilising two StreetVelodrome event rigs simultaneously!
Engaged as part of Ireland’s Bike Week 2019, first stop for the StreetVelodrome crew is Limerick city centre on Saturday 22nd June.
The following day, Sunday 23rd June, the team set off for what Huff Post described as ‘the best little city in Ireland’ – Kilkenny.
On Wednesday 26th the crew head back up the M7 to the leafy suburb of Blanchardstown. Located outside Dublin, this marks StreetVelodrome’s third year in Blanchardstown, as part of an action-packed, bike-filled celebration organised by Fingal County Council.
On Thursday 27th June StreetVelodrome makes its long-awaited Donegal debut! En route, the lucky crew will take in the stunning sights of one of Ireland’s most beautiful counties, before locating for a day in the region’s beating heart: Donegal Town.
From Friday 28th until Sunday 30th June, Cube will have a number of StreetVelodrome events running simultaneously.
Tipperary welcomes StreetVelodrome on Friday 28th, then it’s off to the City of Waterford on Saturday 29th June, and finally, to Carlow town on Sunday 30th June. All three will be first-time visits for StreetVelodrome.
All the while, a second StreetVelodrome event will be taking place at the famous Flavours of Fingal County Festival at the stunning Newbridge House and Demesne near Dublin.
Running on both Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th, ‘Flavours’ is expected to welcome 83,000 people over the weekend, so it looks like the StreetVelodrome crew will be kept beautifully busy!
