Cycling Event Management: Cube to Manage and Promote StreetVelodrome’s Pop-Up Velodrome Track
Cube Management will be travelling across the UK and Ireland this year, managing and operating StreetVelodrome’s highly versatile pop-up velodrome track.
Last month, on 23-25 February, the StreetVelodrome year kicked off in style at the London Bike Show held at London Excel. In partnership with HSBC UK British Cycling, the StreetVelodrome team were able to offer hundreds of show visitors the chance to race on the banking for free.
As one of the most visionary cycle sport events, StreetVelodrome makes being active through cycling accessible to all. The events use an innovative pop up velodrome, with dramatically sloping corners, and brings the thrill and excitement of cycling pursuit racing to the community. StreetVelodrome comprises of a Pro-Series, an elite competition involving well-known Olympics and National champions, a Rider’s Cup competition, a NextGen Series and a Kids Series. Additional recreational, corporate and promotional events are also organised. The unique experience brings an exhilarating opportunity to city centres, uniting cycling enthusiasts of all ages and abilities.
This year will see the pop-up velodrome track being installed in city centres across the UK and Ireland, including Dublin and London. Cube will also be looking to introduce and promote the track to an international market. No stranger to the global stage, Cube has organised events in more than 30 countries across the world, including France, Germany, Spain, China and South Africa.
