The Safe Event Scheme provides a standardised process for ensuring events are planned, delivered and managed safely and responsibly. A solution for the future of the events industry and beyond the ‘new normal’.

Joining global experts in event health and safety, ACT National, the world-leading event planning platform, One Plan, and the world-wide addressing system, what3words, amongst others, as official partners, the scheme has been devised to help the events industry back on its feet.

Events accredited by the scheme will demonstrate their commitment to operating safely and responsibly, and provide assurance to event visitors, spectators, staff and participants.

Events displaying the Safe Event Scheme logo will be verified to ensure that they:

  • Do not compromise public health
  • Follow current guidance on COVID19
  • Do not place an undue burden on civil resources (such as health care, police etc.)
  • Have the right infrastructure and management in place to keep everyone safe

Safe Event Scheme accredited events are proven responsible events, offering assurance to the wider community.

Working in partnership with sports organisations, event associations and venues, the scheme involves a standardised three-stage process which covers the planning, infrastructure and operational elements of any event. The process can apply to any event type, both local or global, and in any event sector, whether for sport, music, culture, festivals or exhibitions. The processes involved incorporate industry-leading commercial and compliance expertise, best-in-class operational support, and global-leading event technology solutions.
