Euro2020 – Cube installs the world’s most sustainable portable building solution at venues across Europe
The world is eagerly awaiting the start of the EURO2020, which will kick off in Rome tomorrow. Nothing unites a nation more than an international tournament. Postponed from last year, due to the global pandemic, the tournament will be held at 11 European venues, each being staged amid Covid-19 restrictions. Millions will be enjoying the spectacle on television, whilst thousands more will be able to watch, and cheer, live from the stands.
The Cube team, following its successful return from the UEFA Europa League 2021 Final held in Gdansk at the end of last month, has been busy this week getting the multiple EURO2020 venues and fanzones ready for action, building fanstores at many of the tournament’s stadia and venues for EURO2020’s official merchandise partner, Fanatics.

Cube was contracted to install Continest units at the venues, the world’s most sustainable foldable portable building solution, which allow multiple units to be transported on just one truck, including roller shutters, shop fittings and equipment. Emphasising Cube’s unrivalled operational and logistical expertise, the units were transported, built, branded and installed at the multiple European venues in just a few days. A tight schedule for anyone’s standards, but an especially amazing feat during Covid times!

For each unit, custom made secure roller shutters, designed by Cube’s inhouse team, were also fitted at each venue, and dedicated tournament branding was applied on each facade. Internally, the retail units were fully fitted with shop fittings, branding, counters and display units.
