NFL Temporary Structures: Regent Street and Wembley Stadium are transformed for the London NFL Games
With NFL coming to town for its annual series of games in London, Cube was delighted to be given the task to install all the on-site NFL temporary structures at both Wembley Stadium and in Central London’s Regent Street. Wembley was the host stadium for two of the series matches, whilst Regent Street was once again the venue where the NFL pre-match street party took place.
The fully branded impressive structures ranged from 12 meters to an incredible 100 meters in length. The largest structure formed the centre piece of the fan park at Wembley Stadium’s yellow car park. It was erected with an imposing 4.5m high back display wall, 70 front counter units, 33 lengths of worktop and 3000 meters of tensa barriers for crowd control. The 29,000 capacity fan park was at full capacity on many occasions during the day.
In addition to the 100m temporary structure, Cube also installed two 15m and two 12m units at various locations on Wembley’s concourse.
Earlier in the week, at the NFL London Street Party in Regent Street, Cube worked through the night to erect a 30m temporary structure, which saw the, much in demand, NFL merchandise fly off the shelves the next day.
Both the street party and the two matches were a great success, with full to near-full capacity crowds at each venue.
